From discovering the Lush Kitchen, I have tried products I loved and hated and made sure that when they came back around in the Kitchen that I would make sure - between myself and my sister - they we stocked up on our favourite products. In a future blog post, I will do my Top Lush Kitchen Picks.
Just before Christmas, my sister picked up from the Kitchen on their last day of selling Santa's Sack Bubble Bar and Three Gold Rings Bubble Bar - they arrived this week.
Three Gold Rings Bubble Bar
I'll start off by saying, this bubble bar really did present itself when I opened up the box from Lush Kitchen this week. I have to say the scent of Three Gold Rings is extremely strong when wrapped up in its Lush Kitchen paper, I therefore thought that it was going to be a really strong smelling bubble bath.
However, when it was crumbled up into the running water, the smell sort of disappeared. They only exciting thing about it was the amount of bubbles it created and the fact it turned the bath water a really interesting colour. The smell vanished which really did surprise me, with it being so strong in the box and the packaging as well as holding it whole before crumbling into the bath tub.
Going back to the smell, it took me ages to figure out what it reminded me of. A lot of Lush products are part of the same family, therefore you can usually get a matching Shower Gel or Bath Bomb to go alongside a bubble bar etc. I then figured out that is shares it scent with Pot O Joy Shower Jelly, which came out last year as part of the Easter Collection - but to celebrate St Patrick's Day - which falls in between Valentines and Easter. I do like the scent, and enjoy the matching Shower Jelly, but is not a scent I would make the effort to repurchase.
Three Gold Rings contains: Golden Lustre, Myrrh Resinoid, Soya Milk Powder, Sweet Orange Oil, Fair Trade Vanilla Absolute and Perfume. The strong scent was defintely the mix between the Orange Oil and Vanilla. It was so overpowering it was almost sickly and I was please to get them out of my room and into the bathroom where I store all my Lush. Thankfully it has not overpowered my other products.
In all honestly, I do not think I would repurchase this particular product. I found it to be more of a gimmick rather than something that was moisturising or nourishing like other Lush Products are. I was overall disappointed.
For this bubble bar: £3.95.
Love, Becky x
