Imperial Leather Cherry Bakewell Shower Cream

Now who doesn't want to shower using bath products that smells like sweet cakey goodness? Well I definitely do after discovering Imperial Leather's Cherry Bakewell Shower Cream, in Tesco last week.

Since my passion for Lush started 3 years ago, I fell in love with shower gels that smelt like sweets, cake or even fruity. Therefore, I am always on the look out of shower gels that will satisfy my sweet tooth. When in Tesco, with my mum the other day doing our usual weekly shop - I came across Imperial Leather's new shower cream that is Cherry Bakewell scented.

If you love Cherry Bakewell's and always wanted to shower in them - then this is the product for you. You do not need to put a lot onto your sponge, flannel or body puff - with this product a little goes a long way. it lathers up really well, creating loads of bubbles as you use it as well as being bright pink in colour. The second the product comes out of the bottle you are greeted by the scent of Cherry Bakewell. Now, the scent, which you would expect to be an artificial and overly sickly sweet scent, it however is not. The scent is exactly like opening a box of Mr Kipling's Cherry Bakewell. You could easily squeeze the gel into your mouth and eat it - I'd recommend not trying that cause I do not think it tastes very nice. The scent lasts well after you are finished in the shower or bath, which is amazing because most shower gels/creams only last in the shower/bath and the scent ends up disappearing quickly.

I have used this shower cream a few times now and will definitely be repurchasing it once I have finished this bottle. I always find myself grabbing for this over my other shower gels at the moment as it really does smell incredible but it also leaves your skin feeling silky soft, it is definitely moisturising which is another bonus when it comes to a shower cream. I have quite sensitive and dry skin, and this does not dry it out but helps keep the moisture in my skin. I am really impress for a product which only cost me £1.

I am going to see what other scents Imperial Leather are doing in the range and see if they are just as good as this one, which I really hope they are.

Until next time,

Becky x
