Lush Winter 2015: Father Christmas & Magic Wand

Snow Fairy - is a very popular fragrance when it comes to Lush launching their Lush Christmas or in the case of last year Lush Winter Collections. It is also a scent that divides people. For some they love the sweet, candy floss coloured, sugary fragrance and make sure they stock up so that it lasts them right around until the following winter. For other's it is the worst scent that Lush has brought out, that it is overpowering, sickly and want nothing to go with it. Then there is a middle ground of people, who picks and choose which Snow Fairy scented products they like. I am one of those people who only likes a select few items such as the Snow Fairy scent bath bomb and the reusable bubble bar - I do not like the shower gel. Recently, I used two of the Snow Fairy scented items - from the Lush Winter Collection for 2015.

Father Christmas Bath Bomb

To look at this product, you would link it with the popular Snow Fairy scent - due to it's pink and white complexion but it has a secret - which is only discovered once it is thrown (with caution) into the bathtub. Underneath, this pink and white jolly looking Santa face is a gorgeous christmassy green colour. As for the scent, I think this particular bath bomb from the Snow Fairy range because it is not overpowering - like the Shower Gel is. It has a subtle sweet candy floss scent that surrounds the bathroom - but does not give you a headache - like I find you get when you use Snow Fairy Shower Gel

This bath bomb contains: Gardenia Extract, Synthetic Musk, Cream of Tartar, Perfume. If you look at the rest of the ingredients, you can see that it is a very synthetic product in order to get that candy floss sweet scent.

I think personally this is best product from the Snow Fairy range, it has just enough Snow Fairy in it for me. Of course if you are a major Snow Fairy Fan, I hope you picked up a few of theses - especially if you got them in the boxing day sale.

For this bath bomb: £3.65.

Magic Wand Reusable Bubble Bar

Let's carry on the theme of Snow Fairy theme, with the Magic Wand Reusable Bubble Bar. When I first used this product - which was Christmas 2014, which was the first time I experienced the Christmas products - I have to admit that I actually prefer the bubble bar back then, however the only thing I do like about this one is the colour. The one from last year had a weaker colour, so therefore if you used this product on it's on - the bubbles were good but the colour was not. However when using this one this year, the only thing that is really good it the strength in colour - which makes a really lovely pink bath water.

On saying that, the scent of this has becomes more like the Snow Fairy Shower Gel, which is that strong sickly sweet scent - which does not appeal to me. I have used this twice since having the bubble bar and I am only using it - to use it up and get it out of my collection. I all honesty if this reusable bubble bar comes back again for Lush Winter 2016, I think I am going to avoid picking it up .

This bubble bar contains that same as the bath bomb mentioned above. Therefore, like the entire Snow Fairy range, very artificial fragrance and in my opinion sickly sweet. One saving grace about this product, because it is reusable you do get more than one bath out of it. Depending on how you use it, you can get 4/5 uses out of it, or if you use it sparingly you can get even more uses.

For this bubble bar: £5.25
