Updated Lush Collection

About a year ago, I uploaded a blog post entitled How I Store My Lush. Since posting that, I have changed it around a bit - be still using the same Ikea Unit - SPRUTT Trolley. As I have updated it, I thought I would go through my new system for organising my collection and how I keep in all in one place!

Updated Lush Collection & Storage

On the Top

On the top of the unit, I have a little bath tub storage - which I got in Wilko's of 90p - I used as my "Baths of the Week" Box! This is where I circulate products in order to use them up. At the moment, I am using up products which are older than a year. Once they are gone, I put products in there which I want to use in order to review them.

I also keep in the same box, the 100g size bottles of Shower Gels - as this was the best place to put them to remember to use them - I have a tendency of grabbing the bigger bottles to use.

In order to keep track of what products I am using up in order to write about them in my monthly Lush empties, I also keep what pots/bottles I use up in the same bath tub storage! This storage box is quite big - which is good for the price! I also keep the pots, in order to collect five - to claim a free fresh face mask!

Next to the bath tub storage box, I have a jar - which is the same jar I use to keep my Bath Oils in - however, they are now stored on another shelf in a martini glass wrapped up in cling film. This jar now houses, a broken Sunflower Bubble Bar - which makes it easier to crumble it up when using in the bath.

First Shelf

This shelf now houses my everyday Lush products and my Lush Kitchen. I still use Cling Film in order to wrap up and keep my Lush Everyday Products fresh and with the Lush Kitchen products - I keep them in the packaging they come in.

Also on this shelf, is all my haircare products - this is my shampoos and conditioners in order to grab them easily when in the bath. I have a 1kg Bottle of Daddy-O Shampoo - which fits perfectly on this shelf and it easy to get out and put back in.

Second Shelf

On this shelf I have all my Shower Gels. They are now organised by expiry date. Organising them by date allows me to use up Shower Gels that I brought a long time ago and they do not get forgotten about, especially with my favourite Shower Gels - I would hate for them to go out of date before I have the chance to use them.

Also on this shelf are all my Shower Jellies - which live behind the Shower Gels - stacked on top of each other. This shelf is really accessible when in the tub - making them easier to grab. I am trying my hardest to grab for my Shower Jellies - as I always go for the Shower Gels - because they are easier - but I do like the smells of the Shower Jellies I own and I am trying to use them! Hopefully use them more now the weather is changing.

The last thing living on this shelf, in jars - I keep my Showders. They use to be in there original packaging - but it was getting harder to use them in the bath. Now they are in jar, there is less likely to get damp and have their packaging ruined. I am also hoping that I remember to use them now, they are in jars - I find them excellent for exfoliating, especially as they are not too harsh.

Third Shelf

Lastly, this shelf houses all the Lush Collection products. At the moment there is Christmas/Halloween Products, Valentine's Day, Mother's Day and Easter products - and of course their is more that one of my favourite products.

These products are all individually wrapped in cling film - which I find to be the best way to keep the product fresh. I also do not have a problem with storing them all together - I do not find that the scents mix and it is the best way for me to store them - especially when this is placed in a shared bathroom.

I hope that helps, this system works for me, due to having living with my parents and we have one shared bathroom. I am always changing it up, depending on what I have in the collection - and of course if I end up buying more!

If anyone has any suggestions or if you want to share how you store your Lush - then please leave me a comment either on this post or on my instagram post of the picture in this blog post - @beckyscahill.

Thanks for reading!

Love, Becky x
