Snow Fairy, is a very popular scent, that comes out during the Lush Winter Collection and it flies off the shelves. Usually it is most popular as the Shower Gel form - which this year for the first time comes in 1kg bottles. I am not a fan of the Shower Gel, I find it very sickly scented. However, I do enjoy other products which are Snow Fairy scented - particularly the bubble bars. Since the launch of the Lush Winter Collection for 2015, I have been trying out the product, and last nights bath experience was definitely a Snow Fairy Scent Sensation. Two of the products are not from the Lush Winter Collection for this year, but they share the scent - so therefore it was a Snow Fairy Bath.
Fluffy Egg Bath Ballistic
This particular product came out during Lush Easter this year. This bright pink egg is Snow Fairy scented and when dropped into your bathtub it turns the entire bath water pink. This was a welcome surprise, seeing as Snow Fairy is seasonal it was nice to see if reappear for the Easter Holiday. This product contains: Synthetic Musk, Colour 45410, Colour 14700, Colour 17200 and Candy Flowers. I found that the Snow Fairy scent was not as strong in this particular product, it was more of a subtle smell rather than the overpowering shower gel. I really enjoyed this ballistic, especially as it was a cute Easter Egg shape, which made me feel like there should be chocolate inside. With the Egg Shaped Ballistics, that come over for Easter, it is really good as an Easter present for someone who does not like chocolate or cannot eat it - they can just enjoy it in the bath instead. For this Ballistic: £2.95.
Candy Mountain Bubble Bar
I am sooooo pleased that this bubble bar has returned this year. This is another one of my favourite Lush Winter Collection bubble bars. This is going to be another bubble bar that I am going to make sure I stock up before Lush Winter has finished. Again, sharing it's scent with Snow Fairy and is the same as Creamy Candy Bar, this adds lovely candy scented bubbles when it is crumbled over running water. This product contains: Cream of Tartar, Cornflour, Snowflake Lustre and Fair Trade Vanilla Absolute. I decided to add this to the Fluffy Egg Bath Ballistic in order to give it some bubbles - but wanted to keep the scent family the same. I like that they have kept it to the pink and white design just like last year. For this bubble bar: £2.95.
Candy Floss Showder
Candy Floss Showder was launched alongside the other Showders when Lush Oxford Street opened back in April earlier this year. I love the Showders, I think they are brilliant for exfoliating, but not harsh like other exfoliating product can be. Again, with Snow Fairy being seasonal, it was a great introduction for something alongside the regular Creamy Candy Bubble Bar, to search the ever to popular seasonal scent. Now, this particular product, is the one that gives off the most subtle Snow Fairy scent - which is a nice addition to an already over Snow Fairy scented bath. To activate this product you simply pour a bit into your hands or on a bath puff/lily or flannel and then add a bit of water. This product contains: Granulated Sugar, Calamine Powder, Fair Trade Vanilla Absolute, Ylang Ylang Oil and Clove Bud Oil. This is also a really handy item I have on hand when it's that time of the month or week to shave your legs - it is good to use before and after to make sure your legs are silky soft. The only downside, is the packaging - I would prefer this to be in the black pots rather than a cardboard box - as it can get wet and damaged easily - for example if it is on the side of the bath tub and gets knocked in the water - the product is damaged. For this Showder: £12.50.
Love, Becky x
