Mother's Day 2015: Mother Superior

One popular collections that Lush brought out this year, apart from the recent Lush Oxford Street and now Lush Winter Collection - was the Mother's Day Collection that came out earlier this year in the UK. As a Lush fan, it is so exciting when they bring out themed bath bombs, bubbles bars an even shower gels. This was the second collection, I really got into - apart from the Lush Winter Collection from 2014. It was only recently that I actually got round to trying this particular Mother's Day product - which unfortunately lost its colour - was Mother Superior Bubble Bar

Mother Superior Bubble Bar

Firstly, this is one of the most comical bubble bars that I have seen from Lush, especially with the original colours of the product - which was a bright blue colour with white and then a flesh colour face. Looking a little bit like the Virgin Mary!

This product shared it scent with Sakura Bath Bomb - which when used together is an amazing combination. It is also great to use alongside Rub Rub Rub Shower Scrub and Seanik Shampoo Bar - both of which share the same scent as the Bath Bomb and this bubble bar. All together a really good Sakura Scented Bath experience.

This product contains: Sicilian Lemon Oil, Mimosa Absolute, Orange Blossom Absolute and Jasmine Absolute. The scent is so fresh, clean feeling and a really good one to use in the morning as a really wake me up, pick me up bubble bar. A really good bubble bar for the scent to stay for the entire bath time experience - rather than dwindling off like other bubble bars I have used.

When this product was fresh, it was a beautiful bright blue colour, than when crumbled into the bath it would turn the bath water a lovely blue/turquoise colour with fresh smelling bubbles. Even though mine faded in colour, the scented remained and even though I didn't get a beautiful blue bath water, I did enjoy the lovely smelling bubbles. The only thing this bubble bar lacked was something to moisturise the skin, but that is my only downside.

If you are lucky enough to have stocked up, when they were on sale earlier in the year then I hope you look forward to experience more Mother Superior Bath times.

For this product: £3.75.

Love, Becky x
