Firstly, as I am a Graphic Designer I love the packaging. The typography feature on the front of the bottle is really flowing and I think represents this product really well. To be honest, the whole range is really well designed and works - giving this idea of something from the 1920s, or summertime of the 1960s - especially with the pastel shades. Secondly, the scent. When it is initially poured out on my body puff, the scent is quite strong and something I was not use to. I do wish the scent stayed the same strength throughout the use of the product and I found that the smell disappeared as soon as I left the shower. Even though I am disappointed with the strength of the smell - my skin is left super soft after the shower - having to put little to no moisturiser on afterwards. The texture is quite thick when it comes out of the bottle - therefore you do not need a lot as it does lather up really well. The texture is similar to watered down Jelly - which might be what they were aiming for when coming up with the Jelly & Gelato range.
Overall, the entire collection is really fun and colourful. I think it really expresses summertime and I think it was prove to be a really popular range. My only really disappointment as the product is the price. When I originally purchased the shower gel, it was £8.00 for a 250ml bottle. I think the price could be reduced and I would purchase the product again if it were to be on sale.
Currently at Superdrug's and Superdrug's online - they are on offer for 3 for 2.
Until next time,
