It's A Date!

Having only discovered the Lush Kitchen not so long ago and the exclusive products that they make small batches of, Monday to Friday with a different product everyday. Now, the idea of exclusive products day to day that you might want, sounds tempting to spend all of your money on, your purse (or wallet), is going to hurt!

My amazing big sister, has brought me a few of the exclusive products that were available on the Lush Kitchen over the last month or so. Now, I am not a fan of all the exclusive products, particularly on the smells. This is one of the downfalls of them only being available online. Some of the products use to be in store and if you were lucky enough to be a Lush fan (or Lushies), when they were, then you know the smell when it comes to purchasing them from the Lush Kitchen. A lot of the products that have recently been on the kitchen, it is my first time smelling them once they arrive in the post. I have only been a huge Lush fan (or now known Lushie) for about a year! Therefore, not every product that we have purchased has been a success!

"It's A Date!"

My Beautiful Pink Bubble Bath
This is one of Lush's ever so popular Bubble bars. A bubble bar is a solid bar used to create bubbles in the bath. You can either break off a small amount and crumble in under the running tap in order to create bubbles. In this case, I used the entire bar, because it is one of the smaller bubble bars.  "It's A Date!" contains Sandalwood Oil and Tangerine Oil and once crumbled into the bath it turns your bath a lovely bright pink colour. On using this bubble bar, I love the fact of being able to bath in a beautiful pink bubble bath and my skin has been left smooth to touch. I added to my bath one of my favourite bath bombs from their christmas range "So White" (future post to come). I was surrounded by beautiful bubbles and has been one of my more successful bubble bars to date, as some don't crumble as well as others, and some do not produce enough bubbles - I like me a bubbly bath! It also has a sweet smell, I am a huge fan of the sweet smelling bath bombs and bubble bars Lush has to offer, so I used my "Prince Charming Shower Gel" (Valentine's Day Collection) along with the shampoo and conditioner I mentioned in my previous post.

Having looked on the history of Lush products, "It's A Date!" use to be available in stores and was part of their Valentine's Day ranges in 2002. This year it was only featured in the Kitchen around the Valentine's Day period, my sister brought two of them off of ebay!

Love, Becky x
