Beautiful Shower Gel

Since, I posted about Lush Summer Shower Gels Go To's about five shower gels which could help you battle the heat as we are set to have a mini heatwave here in the UK. Now, seeing as it's only fair in case you don't know about these shower gels, especially as some are exclusives, I have decided to review them all in there on post.

Beautiful Shower Gel

When Lush Oxford Street opened, of course the excitement for all the new stuff was overwhelming so much so that I'm still getting through my first haul of stuff. With that in mind the Beautiful Shower Gel got neglected for a very long time until I decided to crack it open and give it a whirl.

At first I wasn't quite sure about the scent, as when you look at the colour you are expecting it to smell differently to what it actually is. I thought it was going to be an orangey/citrus scent but when smelling I was surprised and not too sure. The shower gel contains: Fresh Peach Juice, Osmanthus Absolute, Myrrh Resinoid, Gardenia Extract and Dried Apricots. So, the overwhelming scent is Peach, which I have never experienced in a shower gel, nor have I seen as a common scent for a shower gel.

After a couple of uses, I began to enjoy the scent of this shower gel, and I have to admit I do actually really enjoy this shower gel. I didn't think I would as I have mentioned above, the scent is quite unusual for a shower gel. This product is fabulous in the summer time, as it stands out amongst the traditional citrus scent which we link to the summer months. I enjoy this both as a stand alone shower product as well as paired with different bath products for an interesting bath time. I like to use this with product which are fresh, such as pop in the bath. For this 250g bottle: £9.50.

Calacas Shower Gel

Since, I posted about Lush Summer Shower Gels Go To's about five shower gels which could help you battle the heat as we are set to have a mini heatwave here in the UK. Now, seeing as it's only fair in case you don't know about these shower gels, especially as some are exclusives, I have decided to review them all in there on post.

Calacas Shower Gel

Oh my Days, I have fallen in love with this scent but have to use in small amounts as this was in the Lush Kitchen and this is my only bottle. I am stating now, that if this comes back into the Kitchen I am definitely buying a few bottles more. I believe this is one of the true summer scents.

I am definitely a fan of citrus scents, not just in body products but also in food and drink - my favourite cake is actually Lemon Drizzle! So, when my sister ordered a couple of the Calacas Shower Gels, I didn't realise how lovely and citrusy it was. Since buying it, it has sat as part of my collection for a while until the spring/summer months arrived and I have been so pleased that I have cracked it opened.

This shower gel contains, Aloe Vera Gel, Lime Oil, Oilbanum Oil, and Neroli Oil. Now, if you are like me and has very fair skin which burns easily because of the sun, then this shower gel is perfect because of it containing Aloe Vera Gel, which helps to cool and soothe burnt skin and aid in its recovery. Not only does this smell amazing, it feels amazing in the shower or as part of bath time. It is an amazing addition to the summer routine of bathing or showering and if you are like me and want something as a pick me up during the hot weather then this is shower gel you want to use. I wish I had it in bucket fulls, also if Lush want to make it into a body spray - as I can't wear perfume I would greatly appreciate it.

For this 250g bottle: £10.25

Happy Hippy Shower Gel

Since, I posted about Lush Summer Shower Gels Go To's about five shower gels which could help you battle the heat as we are set to have a mini heatwave here in the UK. Now, seeing as it's only fair in case you don't know about these shower gels, especially as some are exclusives, I have decided to review them all in there on post.

Happy Hippy Shower Gel

Happy Hippy is one of Lush's regular product, which is available all year round. It wasn't until this year that I bit the bullet and tried this shower gel, my oh my days it is a heavenly experience.

As I have already mentioned in the Lush Summer Shower Gels Go To's, this shower gel is amazing for a morning pick up but also a great shower gel to help you cool down after a day in the sunshine.

When I originally saw this, I thought it would be lemon scented, because of the subtle yellow colour. To my surprise is it actually grapefruit scented - a scent I don't really like usually and definitely not a fruit I enjoy to eat. The shower gel contains, Fresh Pink Grapefruit Juice, Grapefruit Water, Grapefruit Oil, Bergamot Oil and Frankincense. So, its far to say this product contains a lot of grapefruit. I like this shower gel for those nights it tends to be humid. It is also a good product to stand alone to use in the shower - which we tend to go for during the summer months but is also good in the bath tub alongside your favourite citrus smelling bath bombs or bubble bars. I tend to use this alongside lemon scented or fresh scent bath products as the combination is amazing.

At the moment, I only have a 100g bottle, and will be repurchasing a bigger size bottle because I have fallen in love with the scent even though I have never been so crazy about grapefruit scents and lean towards more citrus scents - especially lemon. For this 100g bottle: £3.75.

Lush Summer Shower Gel Go To's

According to the recent weather reports, the UK are about to be hit with a week long or possibly longer heatwave. We have been told that we could hit temperatures above 30 Degrees. This means, dealing with the heat can become a lot trickier with us needing to find more ways to keep ourselves cool. After going through my shower gel collection, I have chosen five shower gels that could help with dealing with the heat. As someone who doesn't like the heat too much, I'm always looking for a way to cool down. Baths can be considered too hot to have in warmer temperatures, so showering becomes more popular - with some of us (myself included) taking more than one shower a day! I have tried to include shower gels which are currently available but also some that featured recently in the kitchen - that some of you have been lucky to get your hands on.

Summer Shower Gel Go To's

Happy Hippy Shower Gel

Happy Hippy is a good shower gel in order to give you that get up and go in the morning, when those humid nights have plagued your sleeping pattern. Lush describe this shower gel as, "Get up, get started, get zest for success". This Fresh Pink Grapefruit Juice shower gel is definitely one of those shower gels that grace the shelf for your morning shower when you have busy days in the glorious sunshine. If you have trouble getting yourself motivated in morning, like myself and need something to wake you up and get you in the mood to brace the day - then this is the shower gel for you. On the other hand, if you shower or bath in the evening and you need a helping hand in cool down after a day in the boiling sun, then this will help your skin cool down, ready to embrace what could be another humid night. For this 100g bottle: £3.75.
Calacas Shower Gel

Calacas is definitely an energising shower gel, which would get you ready for that all important Monday Morning Presentation. This Lush Kitchen exclusive is described by Lush as "Energising lime and neroli oil put you in the party mood." Again another peppy shower gel, ready to get you out in the sunshine and make some glorious memories. When showering with this is feels like you are pouring liquid gold over yourself and making you really want to sing in the shower. Again, if you are like me and tend you shower in the evening, then this will help aid the cooling of skin but also if you have slightly over done it in the sun and slightly burnt, with the Fresh Aloe Vera it will also aid in the healing of any accidental sunburn. For this 250g bottle: £10.25

Avoshower Shower Gel

Avoshower is definitely the shower gel I find myself grabbing on these hot and humid days. The zesty scent of the Fresh Lemongrass Infusion will definitely be picking you up in the morning ready for the day in the sun and also cool you down in the evening when you have been sunned out. Lush describe this "Showers don't mean a thing if they ain't got that zing." You'll be definitely feeling that zing when you wake have woken up in the shower. Again, this is a brilliant one to use when the idea of getting up and getting in the shower is a drag. If you are feeling daring, and want to brave a bath in the heat, then definitely use this alongside Lush regular Avobath! Unfortunately, which disappoints me greatly is that this product is a Lush Kitchen exclusive. For this 250g bottle: £10.95

Grass Shower Gel

Grass well defiantly get you in the summer mood. With smelling exactly like freshly cut grass from more morning walk in the park with the dog. Lush describe this "that's like a roll in the hay or a walk through a summer morning wood." So, if you want to continue that fresh scent into your morning shower, then definitely pick up a bottle or two and quickly as unfortunately this is one of the products Lush is discontinuing, so stock up as soon as you can. With this product containing Wheatgrass, which is a good for giving your skin a load of enzymes, vitamins and minerals which will help with maintaining healthy skin - which is key in the summer with the exposure to the sun. For this 250g bottle: £9.95.

Beautiful Shower Gel

Beautiful is a Lush Oxford Street exclusive that is definitely a good one to add to cooling shower gel range. With its subtle Fresh Peach Juice, scent which is good for those who don't take well to strong citrus scents. Lush describe this "You've got to get up every morning with a smell on your face, With a little helping hand from this shower gel." Like it says on the bottle, this is your go to in the morning when you need that little extra push to get things started. Again, this shower gel will get you smiling and feeling beautiful as it feels like pouring liquid gold all over yourself as you start you day on the right foot. It is also a good choice when you want to keep that happy feeling going when you day has ended. For this 250g bottle: £9.50

These are my selection, that I am tending to reach for during this rare heatwave in the UK. I find these are all working a treat in order to keep myself cool, especially someone who doesn't take well to hot climates. I understand that to some other countries, who have normal seasons (in the UK this doesn't exist) I doesn't seem like it is boiling hot here, but for UK folk who are not use to such hot temperatures - it is boiling for us.

Hope this was a helpful post :)

Yuzu and Cocoa Moisturising Shower Cream

Now, this is a scent I didn't release I would become a massive fan until they released it in a shower gel/cream when Lush Oxford Street opened.

Yuzu and Cocoa Moisturising Shower Cream

If you are a fan of the Yuzu and Cocoa Bubbleroon then you will love the fan not only you can pop one in the bath you can now continue to the scent with this shower cream.

When I started using Lush, I didn't us any of the bubbleroons until this year. Having never been a huge fan of coconut scented products I always by passed the bubbleroon - I even initially by past the shower cream on the opening of Lush Oxford Street.

My sister picked up a bottle of the Yuzu and Cocoa Shower Cream on our first visit the Lush Oxford Street and when I was staying at hers I decided to give it ago alongside a Yuzu and Cocoa Bubbleroon. OH MY GOD!!!! Why did I dismiss the product - it soon called for another visit to Lush Oxford Street where I ended up picking up my own bottle to add to my ever growing collection.

The Shower Cream contains: Yuzu Infusion, Fresh Yuzu Juice, Fair Trade Organic Cocoa Butter, Cocoa Absolute, Tonka Absolute, Grapefruit Oil and Bergamot. I personally thought that it contained some form of Coconut, like the bubberoon, but whatever they have included to make it smell coconut like its amazing. I can also get the undertone of a chocolate orange scent - as Yuzu is a citrus fruit. Overall, I have to be very careful not to eat this product when using it either in the shower or the bath. I also enjoy how brightly coloured this shower cream is.

What is the difference between a shower gel and a shower cream? Well, according to my sources (lovely Lush staff members) Shower Creams are meant to fill that little bit more like a luxury item, sort of like your shower gel and moisturiser in one. This is a good product for those who find moisturising after a bath a bit of a task.

I really like to try to combine scent families when it comes to bath time and now that Yuzu and Cocoa Bubbleroon has a friend alongside him now as I bath is amazing. The shower cream alone is also amazing, for that morning wake up shower but also a cooling shower after a day in the sun. Also, since buying this my Mum has become a huge fan of the shower gels and this one is one of her upmost favourites. For this 500g bottle £15.95

Top Picks from Lush Oxford Street

Since the store has been opened, I have safely say there have been a few products which I have already gone back and repurchased a couple of times. As we are hopefully getting close to the exclusive products becoming more widely available, here are my Lush Oxford Street Top Picks

Lush Oxford Street Top Picks

1. Rosy Cheeks Fresh Face Mask

I first mentioned this in my post "The Comforter Bath" and it a face mask I have fallen in love with. This product is great for all skin types, especially those who suffer from redness in the cheek area. It is a smooth, thick textured mask which feels amazing when glided over your skin fresh out of the fridge. The scent to me is a real old fashioned Rose smell, which reminds me of something, which still I cannot put my finger on. For this Mask £6.50

2. Hair Custard Hair Dressing

This has become my holy grail hair product which tames my wild flicks. This product works wonders, as well as being a low maintenance hair dressing product - especially if you are the type of person who is looking for something to make your hair look wonderful in seconds. This is also an amazing product for hair that needs add moisture without adding a shed load of weight. I personally use it every time I wash my hair, you only need a dab which means its last for ages. Also this products smells amazing, if you like custard then you will definitely love the smell of this - just don't try and eat it. For this 200g pot: £24.95.

3. The Comforter Shower Cream

If you are a fan of the Comforter scent range, then you will definitely be added this Shower Cream to your collection. The shower cream works exactly the same way as shower gels, apart from they contain that add ingredients to it to moisturise the skin. Out of all the new shower creams that have been added to the range this one by far is my absolute favourite and I love the fact you can now have truly Comforter scent bath time experience. For this 500g Shower Cream: £15.95.

4. Frozen Bath Bomb

Out of all the new Bath Bombs, this one is currently my favourite. The amazing blue colours swirling around the bath definitely gives you a sense of an icy feel. I really enjoy the fresh scent of this bath bomb, as well as amazing way it makes you feel once to enter the bath tub. I chose this as the first ever bath bomb to use out of the entire haul from my first visit to the store. As a side note, this product would be amazing for young children, especially who are fans of the film. For this Bath Bomb: £3.75.

5. Damaged Hot Oil Hair Treatment

OMG!!!! I seriously love this product. If you have over done it on the old bleach or like my thought it was a good idea dye your hair blue (but believe me it was a good idea, I looked awesome), then this product will definitely bring your hair back to life. Designed like the hot chocolate sticks, you melt this product, plonk it all over your hair, leave it for 20 minutes, wash off as normal and ta daaa your once before damaged hair is now full of life and feeling a lot healthier as well as silky soft. Lush Oxford Street as offer two other treatments, Kinky and Tangled. For this product: £6.50.

6. Independent Liquid Eyeliner

Having never tried Lush make up before, I was curious about there items since they have been reinvented as well as a lot more add to the collection. I now swear by this eyeliner for my retro fifties/sixties thick eyeliner flicks - especially during these summer months. Not only does it glide on like a dream, it stays in place all day - which is what I want from an eyeliner - not for it to be halfway down my face by the afternoon. If you are an eyeliner fan, then this is for you. For this eyeliner: £14.50.

So Far, these are my top picks out of all the other amazing Lush Oxford Street exclusives. Of course, I enjoy a lot more of the exclusive, but these a six which either use everyday or keep coming back to. I am still trying to get through all my first impressions of my original Lush Oxford Street Haul, from the first time I visited. So, there are still a lot more reviews to come, which means a lot more baths to experience.

Hope this post helps, for those planning a visit to Lush Oxford Street or compiling together a list for when some of these exclusive hit the regular stores, hopefully very soon.

Love, Becky x

Disclaimer: All above views are my own. I do not work for LUSH, nor am I sponsored by them. This is a hobby and a pleasure, and a love for Lush Products.

P.S. If I have reviewed any of the above product there original blog post has been link - just click on the title of the product.

Golden Slumbers Bath Bomb

Not all the Bath Bomb featured in the new Lush Oxford Street are brand new, some of them have been updated in order to make them that little bit more exciting as you toss them into your bathtub. The old favourite Golden Slumbers is one of them that has been given a well deserved update and definite one to add to your collection.

Golden Slumbers

Now from what I understand about this bath bomb, having not previously used one until Lush Oxford Street is that they are were only available as part of the Lush Spa Gift Sets. Now if you are lucky enough to live near the Oxford Street store or have a very nice friend willing to pick you up one of these, then I would definitely make sure this is on your wish list.

So, what has been updated?

Apparently, before hand there was only one layer of gold glitter goodness - well I can say this is one of there most glitter filled bath bombs I have experienced. As the bath bomb enters the water, the explosion of glitter beings to emerge as well as turning your bath water a beautiful golden/yellow colour with loads and loads of glitter goodness.

If you are looking for a good bath bomb to relax you before bed, then this is definitely one for you. The product contains: Lavender Sprigs, Lavender Oil, Chamomile Oil, Lavender Absolute, Neroli Oil, Golden Lustre Sparkle. If you like the idea of being part of a spa treatment or have been lucky enough to have a spa treatment and want to re-create the experience at home, then this is the bath bomb for you. The amazing Lavender scent, not only fills your bath but the entire room around you making it an entire bath time experience. This is one for a face mask and a relax in a warm Golden Slumbers bath. As someone who struggles to relax before bed time and therefore has broken sleep - this bath bomb is a absolute must have you need a helping hand to prepare your body for a good nights sleep.

At the moment, these are exclusive to the Lush Oxford Street store, for now, and hopefully well be roll out in regular stores - but if not might be replacing the existing Golden Slumbers in the Lush Spa Gift Set. They might end up being Lush Bath Bombs just for the Lush Spa Stores - such as Kings Road Chelsea, Oxford Street, Poole, Liverpool, Kingston, Edinburgh, Bath and Leeds ( These spas are all based in the UK).

For this bath bomb: £3.95. Lush Spa Gift Set: £29.95.

Guardian of the Forest Bath Bomb

Slowly but surely I am getting through the first haul I did from when Lush Oxford Street Opened. One bath bomb that has been floating around in my collection since the beginning is Guardian of the Forest, which I have to admit I was bit sceptical of trying as I mainly stick to scents I really like, such as Avobath, Prince Charming and So White. But, hold your horses, I freaking love it!

Guardian of the Forest Bath Bomb

Firstly, this bath bomb is definitely beautifully designed. When I saw this on Instagram when they were secretly leaking them I thought it would be either a re-design on Avobath Bath Bomb or possible something Lord of Misrule scented. Now, I am a huge fan on Avobath but unfornatutely I do not like Lord of Misrule - and I didn't jump on the ban wagon when the bath bomb was released for Halloween last year nor did I pick up any of the Lord of Misrule scented stuff at the launch. Now, this bath bomb, is amazing. Not just scent wise, but how it fizzes away in the water.

You are definitely entering a forest of green as the bath bomb fizzes away in the bath water. I was expecting the scent to be overpowering, but it was lovely and light and a good one to throw in the bath especially with achy joints (something I am suffering with at the moment.)
This bath bomb contains: Cypress Oil, Lime Oil, Rosewood Oil, Oak Moss Absolute, Spring Green and Frosty Holly and Yellow Lustre. You definitely get a woody smell from the bath bomb but not as strong as other wood based products. I like the fact that it is light and fresh but not so light that its going to wake you up if you have it in a nighttime bath.

As it fizzes away you get a beautiful swirl of light and dark green which gentle mixes to produce a lovely green colour in the bath water. As I have mentioned in previous posts about the new bath bombs and bubble bars, I think not only have Lush introduced a load of lovely new products but also changed there formulation of there products, so they fizz differently and give more excitement to bath time.

I teamed this with alongside Don't Rain on My Parade Shower Gel, you could also pair it with Lord of Misrule Shower Cream

If you have children, this is definitely a fun bath bomb for them. For this bath bomb: £3.35.

Lush Foot Care

My timing seems to be pretty good again this week with these two products featuring in the Lush Kitchen this week. Not only is this good timing but I have had really good experience with these products and consider them now holy grail products for monthly foot care.

Pumice Power

I never knew how much your feet benefit from using a Pumice Stone until Lush brought this out as part of there Lush Oxford Street Exclusives. Having used other Pumice Stones in the past, which I have found too harsh and don't seem to do a lot I can actually sing this products praises. It keeps hard skin at bay, without feeling that you have scrubbed them down to the bare bones. What it also nice about this product is the scent, not overpowering but a light slightly citrus scented product. In order to use it, you dunk it in the water and then gentle rub it over your feet, and it will create a scrub which will have rub away the dead skin. I use this once a month when I do an entire foot care regime. You also get a lot for your money, as it lasts a lot longer than other Pumice stone products. For this Pumice Power: £3.10.

Go Faster Feet Foot Lotion

To finish off my monthly foot care regime, I always use since coming out as part of the Lush Oxford Street exclusive is the Go Faster Feet Foot Lotion. Once you have pampered and made your feet look lovely, then use this to lock in all that hard work you have just put in to making your feet look flip flop worthy. The lotion is a very light consistency which is perfect for the feet, as you don't want to slap on a thick lotion and then stand up and go flying! Not only is this a thin layer of lotion to your feet, it really makes your feet feel fresh and ready to run a marathon (that step is optional!) It includes, Moringa Leaf Infusion, Capirona Bark Decotion, Moringa Oil, Fair Trade Organic Cocoa Butter, Baobab Oil, Brazil Nut Oil. This is a good product aimed at people who's feet take a battering, especially if you spend so much time on your feet then its nice to treat them to something light fresh and hopefully rebooting your feet ready for there next battering. For this lotion: £6.95

As I have mentioned in my Lush Summer Essentials post, we are getting some sort of summer (I type that as I look out the window of the rain pouring down!) and it is very important to take of your feet during the summer months - especially as you are beginning to wear flip flops or sandals and also your feet don't take too lightly to the warmer climate. Best of luck to anyone wanting to pick these products up in this weeks Lush Kitchen and hopefully be seeing these two products in all regular lush stores soon.

This blog post is dedicated to my Mum who has always suffered with her feet and thanks to Lush she is able to take care of her feet and feels the benefits especially this summer.

Yoga Bomb Bath Bomb

With this bath bomb being in the Lush Kitchen today, it was perfect timing that this was my choice for my bath last night.

Yoga Bomb Bath Bomb

Initially when smelling this bath bomb before putting it in the bathtub I thought I wouldn't be able to get along with it because the smell of it put me off. I only really smelt these properly after I returned home from the Lush Oxford Street store, because of all the smells in the store sort of blend into one. Still put off by the smell, I wrapped it up and added it to my ever growing collection and didn't think about it until last night.

I pick it out of my collection, smelt it again and then decided to see what it smelt like once I had added it to the bath. I sometimes find that bath bombs in particular unleash there true smell once they are added to water. This is where I fell in love with the smell of the Yoga Bomb Bath Bomb. You would expect to look at the bath bomb that it was going to be a citrus, orangey scent but actually smells more musky - which something that doesn't usual appeal to me but lucky I love this bath bomb.

Now to look at this bath bomb, I thought it was just a simple orange coloured bath bomb - until it entered the water. Once the orange part begins to fizz away it reveals a turquoise centre which makes the orange colour that your bath water already it become an interesting darker colour which is amazing. It also has glitter which just adds to the glorious colour is already is. The bath bomb contains Cassie Absolute, Olibanum Oil, Ho Wood Oil, Sandalwood Oil, Snowflake, Frosty Holly and Gold Glimmer Lustre. I really did enjoy this bath bomb, and as Lush explains it, "to help you tap into your happy place", so definitely a good choice when you have had a bad day or suffer with mood swings. I know people are turned off bath bomb which contain the glitter element, but I absolutely love it because it definitely makes bath time more enjoyable. For this bath bomb: £3.75.

Lush Summer Essentials

In the UK as we are getting some sort of a Summer, I thought it would be a good idea to put together a list of products from all different sections which could be considered as Summer Essentials. These include, primer, sunblock, shower gel and even make-up items that could help when deciding what you might need to use during the those of summer we might be lucky to get in the UK. Of course these apply not just to people in the UK, I only say this as I live in the UK and look at the weather daily to make sure it doesn't change.

For this list of products, I have decided to stick to products that everyone is able to get there hands on in the local Lush stores, so there are no Lush Oxford Street exclusives mentioned as I didn't see it far because not everyone has the chance, at the moment to get to Lush Oxford Street for those exclusives. All of these are available in regular Lush Stores as well as online and non of these products are being discontinued.

My Top Lush Summer Essentials 2015

I have chosen this as a quick and easier make-up remover for those nights when you are so hot you don't want something that is going to take you a long time to use in order to remove your make-up. This can also be used as a primer base for your make-up, so when the weather is hot and humid your make -up is going to stay in place a lot longer and not end up sliding half way down your face by the end of the day. For 45g tub £7.25 and 100g tub £11.50

The Sunblock Solid Sunscreen Wash SPF 30 High
Google Image
Now, if you are anything like me and hate the idea of applying thick layers of Sunscreen throughout the day why not try this solid sunscreen but in the shower. Simply break off a third and rub it all over your skins whilst you are in the shower. Then lightly pat your skin dry. You have already given your skin a boost of protect just from having a morning shower, also it is SPF 30 which is really good to protect your skin against sun rays. For this bar £8.95

Dream Cream Hand and Body Lotion
This is my holy grail product all year round but this is also good to use during the summer. If you have sensitive skin which burns easily then this could help to soothe and cool irritated skin which could have burnt due to being the sun. If you are lucky enough to get a bit of a suntan over the Summer months then this could help maintain the tan that little bit longer especially as (if you like in the UK) the sunny days are few and far between. For 240g tub £11.95. This also comes as self-preserving.

Shine So Bright
Google Image
If your hair gets damaged easily from the hot sun on it all day then using this could help control damaged ends and keep your hair looking healthy while you enjoy the sunshine. A little goes a long way, so you will only need to apply a small amount to the ends of your hair to keep it looking healthy and shiny during the summer months. Also a good product for if you use a lot of heat styling tools. For this tub £4.75.

Happy Hippy Shower Gel
Google Image
This shower gel will definitely prep you for the day with its Lemon and Grapefruit scent as well as feeling cooling to the skin. Also, use this at night time in order to cool down your skin after a day in the sunshine. For a 100g bottle £3.75, 250g bottle £7.50 and for a 500g bottle £11.95.

Avobath Bath Bomb
Another favourite of mine which again goes along the lines of waking you up on a sunny morning making your feel refreshed from the muggy (meaning very hot and humid) night. On the other hand if you have had a day in the sun and you want a cooling bath time treat then this is a definite must to throw in the bath before settling in for what could be another humid night during the summer. For this bath bomb £3.35

Pop in the Bath Bubble Bar
Google Image
This is a definite pick up to pop in your bath during the summer months. Use this bubble bar to help to get you out of bed and ready for the say - instantly picking your mood up in order to enjoy what can be limited sunny days. On the other side use this of a night time to soothe sun kissed skin after a long day in the sun to wind down ready for a fresh feeling before going to bed. For this bubble bar £2.95

I love Juicy Shampoo
Google Image
Now with the sun beating down on your head all day isn't very good for your hair. This can cause your hair to be extra greasy and not appear healthy and shiny like you want it to be. With this shampoo it will help to control the excess oil which is caused by the sun and also the fact you are sweating because of hot temperatures. It allows your hair to maintain looking fresh and clean. For 100g bottle £5.50, 250g bottle £10.95 and for the 500g bottle £17.95.

Get your feet ready for flip flops and sandals with this foot mask. It is very important to make sure your feet are looking their best during the summer months - especially if you like showing them off in your new summer sandals. Not only is this foot mask good for making your feet look gorgeous in a pair of flip flops but it is also a good thing to use at the end of a long day in the sun, where your feet might have taking a bit of a battering with long sunshine filled walks. For a 125g tub £6.50.

Each Peach and Two's a Pair Massage Bar
This amazing smelling as well as being beneficial for your skin this massage bar is definitely one for the summer. This is also the first ever massage bar I have ever used, so there will be a review coming soon. In the meantime this massage bar would be good to use in the morning after a refreshing shower in order to continue to wake you up on a bright sunny day. It would also be good to use after an evening shower or bath in order to cool down heated skin that has been in the sun all day. For this massage bar £5.95

Independent Liquid Eyeliner
If you are a fan of Liquid Eyeliner and like me wear it all year round but during the summer you don't want it sliding halfway down your face by the evening then definitely pick up one of these eyeliners. They stay in place all day, from if you do a simple line, a cat eye or like me retro sixties style eyeliner then you have no worries of this eyeliner failing you on a hot summers day. For this eyeliner £14.50.

This only suggestions for if you are looking for products in order to make your summer that bit more enjoyable, so you can put to the back of your mind the tasks of taking care of your body throughout the summer months. I also hope that I have given suggestions for all elements, from top to bottom.

Ultrabland Facial Cleanser

Now, I am always looking out for something that will remove my daily make-up easily, as I enjoy putting my make-up on but taking it off always seems more of a effort to take it off than putting it on. I have always heard that Lush's holy grail product for taking off make-up as well as general skincare is Ultrabland Facial Cleanser. So, the other day while in Lush Oxford Street (for the fourth time) I decided to pick up a tub.

Ultrabland Facial Cleanser

Now when it comes to wearing Make-Up, I wear a lot of eye make-up, especially liquid eyeliner and mascara - both of which are actually from the Lush Make Up range, so they can be very difficult to get off at the end of the day. I have been looking for a make-up remover which doesn't involve pulling out several eyelashes in the process.

Enter Ultrabland, gentle to the skin and basically means removing my entire face of make-up in seconds rather than scrubbing it to death with facial wipes. In order to use this product, you basically take a generous amount all over your face - including working it into your eye make-up before wiping it all off with a warm flannel or cotton wool pads. I was absolutely amazed at the results. It broke down all my eye make-up which can be quite stubborn especially at the end of the day and made the mascara easy to just wipe away.

According to the packaging - this product was invent by Lush, for Lush and they call it their Number One Desert Island Products. Which now seeing the results myself, it would definitely be in my hand luggage if I got stranded on an Island. Ultrabland includes, Almond Oil, Rose Water, Beeswax, Honey, Fresh Iris Extract, Glycerine and Rose Absolute. You can definitely feel the Beeswax texture, but it does not feel overly greasy or thick when applied to the face. This makes if more of a pleasant experience rather than something slimy sliding off your face. Unfortunately with the main ingredient being Beeswax and also containing Honey this product cannot be used by Vegans.

Overall, I am really pleased with how this turned out. It will definitely be making a appearance in my make-up draw for the foreseeable future. Also, just to mention it is suitable for all skin types. For the 45g tub £7.25 and for the 100g tub £11.50.
