Visiting Lush Spa Poole

When I became a Lush Fan aka Lushie, it has always been one of my goals to visit the mothership, not Lush Oxford Street but the original mothership - this being the first ever Lush Store in Poole. Myself and fellow Lushie my Sister decided to take a weekend trip to the beautiful Poole, in Dorset earlier in the year and visited store 29 and a half - Lush Spa Poole.
Welcome to Poole
If you don't already know, Lush Cosmetics originates in Poole, Dorset. It is where the founders of Lush opened there first store, which is still open today and as popular as ever. So, for every major Lush fan, it is a must see experience and definitely an excuse to head to the sunny coastal town of Poole.

Store 29 and a Half
Therefore, we took a train from London Waterloo to Poole one sunny Saturday morning in April and landed in the home of Lush. What I like about the Lush Spa Poole store is in a house rather than the glass/black painted which all the other have adopted as their signature style. Not only is it there first Lush store, but it also has a one of the exclusive Lush Spas

You get a real homely feel to the shop, like it was designed for or designed from a real county home/house. Also the outside is painted in one of my favourite colours Teal Green/Mint. Overall the store is amazing and what also made it amazing was the response and the welcoming feeling that the awesome staff gave us when we visited.

Glorious Bath Bombs
One of the things I enjoyed, apart from it all was the way they display there bath bombs/bubble bars. I got the idea that it was designed on those crates they use to use to store fish when they were selling it once they caught it freshly from the sea.

During our visit, we picked up a few treats - seeing as they are the most fresh product, as the factory is not that far away from it. We had a wonderful time, and were sad to leave seeing as we were welcomed so much by the lovely staff - which I think make the trip to a Lush store a wonderful time not just the lovely smelling products.
My Sister on the Beach

While we were in Poole we also took a trip to the seaside, Sandbanks and had a lovely walk along the beach and even dipped our feet in the sea water. It was early in the morning when we went for our seaside walk so the beach was empty and it was lovely seeing it fill up with families and people walking their dogs. It was a lovely two days visiting not only a place that we absolutely love but I am my happiest when I am in a seaside town. When I have the money, my dream is to live in a little cottage by the sea, especially if it looks out across the sea - the view I see everyday.
