Guardian of the Forest Bath Bomb

Slowly but surely I am getting through the first haul I did from when Lush Oxford Street Opened. One bath bomb that has been floating around in my collection since the beginning is Guardian of the Forest, which I have to admit I was bit sceptical of trying as I mainly stick to scents I really like, such as Avobath, Prince Charming and So White. But, hold your horses, I freaking love it!

Guardian of the Forest Bath Bomb

Firstly, this bath bomb is definitely beautifully designed. When I saw this on Instagram when they were secretly leaking them I thought it would be either a re-design on Avobath Bath Bomb or possible something Lord of Misrule scented. Now, I am a huge fan on Avobath but unfornatutely I do not like Lord of Misrule - and I didn't jump on the ban wagon when the bath bomb was released for Halloween last year nor did I pick up any of the Lord of Misrule scented stuff at the launch. Now, this bath bomb, is amazing. Not just scent wise, but how it fizzes away in the water.

You are definitely entering a forest of green as the bath bomb fizzes away in the bath water. I was expecting the scent to be overpowering, but it was lovely and light and a good one to throw in the bath especially with achy joints (something I am suffering with at the moment.)
This bath bomb contains: Cypress Oil, Lime Oil, Rosewood Oil, Oak Moss Absolute, Spring Green and Frosty Holly and Yellow Lustre. You definitely get a woody smell from the bath bomb but not as strong as other wood based products. I like the fact that it is light and fresh but not so light that its going to wake you up if you have it in a nighttime bath.

As it fizzes away you get a beautiful swirl of light and dark green which gentle mixes to produce a lovely green colour in the bath water. As I have mentioned in previous posts about the new bath bombs and bubble bars, I think not only have Lush introduced a load of lovely new products but also changed there formulation of there products, so they fizz differently and give more excitement to bath time.

I teamed this with alongside Don't Rain on My Parade Shower Gel, you could also pair it with Lord of Misrule Shower Cream

If you have children, this is definitely a fun bath bomb for them. For this bath bomb: £3.35.

Love, Becky x
