Lush Discontinued Haul

We have all heard the rumours, we have all hoped that they are not true, but yes, they are, so let's now say goodbye to what use to be old faithfuls in the regular Lush Stores. Yes, goodbye to what is going to be discontinued

Mainly on Instagram there has been rumours about what Lush are discontinuing due to the popular brand new products that are only featured in Lush Oxford Street and now Lush Poole Spa. In light of these being discontinued, my inner Lush addict screamed out that I might need these products for the future, and cannot wait on hope that they might be featured in the Lush Kitchen, therefore I give you the Lush Discontinued Haul

Firstly, here is the entire list of items which will be shortly discontinuing - so be sure if they are favourite of yours, you better get into stores or online and get them quick!

For Bath:

  1. Phoenix Rising
  2. Space Girl
  3. Rose Queen
  4. Granny Takes a Dip
  5. Dorothy
  6. Amandopondo
For Shower:
  1. You Snap the Whip
  2. Aqua Mirablis
  3. Sweetie Pie
  4. Grass
  5. Flying Fox
Face and Body:
  1. Aqua Marina
  2. Lustre
  3. Lovely Jubblies
  4. Tiny Hands
  5. Putty for your hands
  6. Stepping Stone
  7. Fromulae Known As
  8. Vanilla Puff
Soap:
  1. Ice Blue
  2. Dirty
  3. Magnificent
  4. Godmother

From the list above, this is what myself and my sister - who I have mentioned before is a fellow Lushie (Fan of Lush) and also my Mum who has begun to use Lush products over the last month, decided to stock up on from the discontinued list. Some of the products we decided to purchase we haven't tried before. This time around, I am not going to review them from using the item, I am mainly expressing possible reasons plus opinions on the items that are being discontinued

Phoenix Rising

My sister is a fan of these Phoenix Rising bath bombs. These are one of the popular products in store, I see handfuls of these being placed in the basket at regular Lush Stores. This is a shame that these bath bombs are being discontinued. So if you are a fan of Phoenix Rising then I think it might be wise to pick up a few....handfuls. For these each £2.79.

Grass Shower Gel

I am not one for earthy based shower gels, but since the introduction of the Grass Bubble Bar, I have begun to enjoy this shower gel. It is good for this current summery weather, as it makes you feel fresh and awake. I am surprised they are discontinuing this item, especially, as I have already mentioned one of the new bubble bars available at Lush Oxford Street is Grass scented. I picked up a 250g bottle for £8.29 and my sister a 500g bottle for £14.13.

 Aqua Marina Fresh Cleanser 100g

Now originally my sister picked up two of these, one for me, one for her. We have never tried this product, but on smelling it, I have decided to give it to my mum to use. She preferred the smell, and I hope she gets a lot of use out of it. These two were picked up for £5.63 each
Stepping Stone Foot Scrub 60g each

These are amazing Foot Scrubs - I had this when I had the Lush Spa treatment The Spell. My mum absolutely loves these so, two are for my mum and one is for my sister. We picked these up for £2.58 each

Flying Fox Shower Gel 250g

My sister picked this up for herself. She has never used the product before and decided to give it ago before regretting never trying it and then its discontinued. I'm not sure what the key ingredient is for this product, having never used it before, but I think it is the same scent as the Lust Perfume. I didn't pick one up as I am not a fan of the Lust smell whereas my sister is and owns the perfume. For this bottle of 250g £8.29
 Dorothy Bubble Bar

It is a real shame they are discontinuing this product. I am not a overly big fan of Dorothy but I have tried it and enjoyed it. One of these is for me and the other three are for my sister as she is a bigger fan of it than me. For each £2.71
 Granny Takes a Dip

Only picked up one of these for me, I think they are replacing this with the new Granny Takes a Dip Bubble Bar which is available in the Lush Oxford Street Store. I have never tried this bath bomb, as I have never been a fan of the smell but like I have said before, it would be a shame to never try them and miss them once they are gone. For this bath bomb £2.79.

 Space Girl

From experience of seeing people shopping in regular Lush stores, I have seen this to be a popular product and wonder why they are discontinuing it. I have never tried this bath bomb before, so we picked up one for me and one for my sister. If you are one of those people that I see putting a few of these in your basket at a Lush Store then I think you need to put a few more in. For this bath bomb £1.96
 Amandopondo Bubble Bar

If you have read my Rose Bubble Bar blog post then you know this bubble bars are the same smell as the Rose Bubble Bars. I am devastated they are discontinuing this bubble bar as it is one of my overall favourite scents from Lush. For these each £2.29.

Tiny Hands Solid Hand Cream 60g

I fell in love with this solid hand cream when I had the Validation Facial one of Lush Spas treatments. It was use on me as a hand and arm massage. I like the idea of a hand cream being solid, as I have found that I tend to use it more than a regular liquid form hand cream. I also love the smell. Again, I am unhappy they are discontinuing this. For this Solid Hand Cream £3.75.

Of course, if there are any other products to be added to the discontinued list then I will update as and when. Apparently these are going to be discontinued soon in the next month or so, so stock up on these while you can.

Love, Becky x
