I love the fact that Lush create products in order to give back to different charities. It is a creative and brilliant way of us as Lushies, getting a new product - as well as the charities receiving all the money from the sale of the products. This time around Lush have created a new Showder, working alongside Climate Revolution and War on Want as well the box being designed by Vivienne Westwood.
Dirty Deal Showder
The entire aim of creating and selling this Showder is to create awareness of TTIP - which stands for The Transatlantic Trade and Investment Partnership. This is a proposed free-trade agreement between the European Union and the United States. This could affect everything from our income, the food we eat and the current state of our NHS system. In regards to the actual Showder - it amazing. On first sight, when you pour it out of the box it appears a pinky/red shade but when water is added it turns a lovely purple shade. Then when it is appeal to the skin, it makes your feel silky soft. When Lush introduced Showders, when they launched Lush Oxford Street, I was not sure about them, and did not understand the point when there is already - shower gels, soaps and jellies. However, when I started to explore them, I realised that they not only wash your skin but also exfoliate leaving it soft and all the dead cells gone.
This product contains: Cornflour, Extra Virgin Coconut Oil, Bergamot Oil and Rose Oil. At first I was not sure about the scent, but since using the product, I have fallen in love with the scent. When I use it, I really do smell the Rose and Bergamot Oil - which create a subtle floral scent - which is not overpowering nor is it sickly.
The only downsize to this product, is the packaging. I do not like the cardboard packaging to the boxes as it makes it awkward to use this in the shower/bath. I wish they would have put it into the black tubs that they use for the other body scrubs/masks/cleansers, as this would make this easier to use with wet hands. That my only problem with this product - the actual product inside it amazing.
For this Showder: £12.50. This product is limited edition, so get it while you can, and help a great cause.
Love, Becky x
