Reformulated Brightside Bubble Bar

When I started using Lush, I stuck to one bubble bar - which was the Creamy Candy Bubble Bar - but once I got use to the products and realised that my skin did not react to the ingredients I moved on to the other amazing products Lush had to offer. I love the bubble bars - so obviously I moved on to trying the other types. The second bubble bar I tried was Brightside Bubble Bar - and funnily enough was the first bubble bar I brought my sister when I tried to get her into Lush products, and as you know it worked!

Brightside Bubble Bar

Brightside, is one of the bubble bars, just like The Comforter, Blue Skies and Fluffy White Clouds, Supertramp - slightly bigger in size, allowing for more baths that just one - which some of the smaller bubble bars only allow for. With the bigger bubble bars you can get 4 or sometimes even 5 baths out of them.

With the launch of Lush Oxford Street in April this year - the old favourites such as The Comforter, Blue Skies and Fluffy White Clouds and Brightside had a makeover. Lush improved the formulation of products - improving on the scent, colour and overall appeal of the product. So, what does this mean?

This means, that when you crumble either part of the bar or if you are that way inclined the ENTIRE bar, you will get a strong smell as well as a stronger coloured bath, and in my opinion loads more bubbles.

Since using the reformulated bubble bar, I have found that yes, it is better than the old version. When using in the bathtub, I have found that it leaves your skin feeling more moisturised, softer as well the overall feeling of being fresher - and I do like a bath that leaves me feeling fresh - which I think is the overall idea of having a bath in the first place.

This bubble bar contains: Mandarin Oil, Tangerine Oil, Bergamot Oil and Gardenia Extract. Overall, this smells to me of orange goodness, but not sickly sweet orange scented, but that fresh, just picked orange scent - which is amazing to bath in.

If you are just starting off with Lush, or thinking about starting to use the bubble bars - then I would recommend getting a bubble bar like Brightside - as it is definitely worth the money and also if you are good at sparing it - you can get quite a lot of baths out of it.

For this bubble bar: £4.75.

Love, Becky x
