I think the ultimate bath time experience has to include bubbles. As I have mentioned on numerous occasions my favourite products from Lush are the bubble bars. Therefore when it comes to planning bath time experiences I like to choose Bath Bombs and Bubble Bars that go together in order to have the best of both worlds. One bubble bar which goes with everything is Pop in the Bath Bubble Bar, which for the launch of Lush Oxford Street has been revamped and definitely a difference from the original green, white, blue and pink ones.
Pop in the Bath
If you are a fan of the ever so popular Pop in the Bath bubble bar and cannot find it in stores, its because they look different now. If you have walked past this beautiful pink with a blue flower or a blue with a pink flower bubble bar and wonder what they are - then those are the brand new revamped Pop in the Bath Bubble bars.
Even though they are only two styles of Pop in the Bath now, they are still amazing, smell the same and even add more colour to a bath time experience. The only thing that I find disappointing about the revamped bubble bar is that if you are wanting to add this to a bath bomb - in order to have bubbles - it changes the colour of the water, and it is not as pleasant to bathe in. What I liked when they was a variety of colours - especially the white and green - you could add it to bath bombs such as Avobath and Butterball - and the colour of the water would be the same.
This product contains: Cornflour, Bergamot Oil, Lemon Oil, Orange Flower Absolute and Mandarin Oil.
Which are the same ingredients are the original Pop in the Baths. I love the smell of this product, it is not overpowering which is way it makes a great addition to any bath bomb and gives amazing smelling bubbles in your bath. Of course you can use this on its own - you do not have to always use it alongside a bath bomb or bath oil/melt. The only reason, I find it more useful to use alongside a bath bomb or oil, is because unlike other bubble bars I have used, this product do not contain anything in the form of moisturising. A lot of Lush bubble bars do contain a Cocoa Butter or Shea Butter - whereas Pop in the Bath does not. So when used alone, you smell amazing, feel fresh but there is no moisturising benefit to the skin. But, this is just my opinion.
One bonus with the bubble bar - if you are on a tight budget, for example you are a student with not a lot of money, they you can pick up this bubble bar for a lovely bath as it only costs £2.95 - making it one of the more affordable product sold by Lush.
For this bubble bar: £2.95.
Love, Becky x
