Discontinued Dorothy Bubble Bar

As you are aware, with the arrival of all the new lovely products from the launch of Lush Oxford Street - there was going to be some room to be made in the other stores in order to make the new products widely available. Therefore, some of the older/not so popular products were discontinued. One of those products was a bubble bar - which was a bubble bar which was popular and a scent that was really appealing to many was the Dorothy Bubble Bar. As I write this post, I am reminiscing about the bath I enjoyed with this bubble bar - my last one - as it was a long time ago.

"Somewhere, over the rainbow" Dorothy Bubble Bar is no more! The cute blue bar with a yellow and orange rainbow on top is no longer in stores, and no longer available for you to crumble under the water and make lightly scented, fresh scented and slightly citrusy scented bubbles. 

I have to admit I do miss this bubble bar and have enjoyed several of them before they were discontinued. When you did crumble this bubble bar into your bath, your bathwater would turn a lightly blue colour with elements of yellow and orange. It would then fill the bathroom with a light, fresh, slightly citrus scent - which was brilliant for the summer - as in the warmer weather you always want to have a bath which was fresh and make you feel cooler in the heat. 

I overall enjoy the fresher scented bubble bars - as these I find the most relaxing and like the feeling of leaving the bath feeling fresher and clean. This bubble bar achieved that, and I am very sad that it is no longer in stores. 

This bubble contained: Ylang Ylang Oil, Orange Flower Absolute and Gardenia Extract. Which made for a fresh and clean smelling bubble bar. 

If you are lucky enough to still have some of these in your stash then you are very lucky - and also treasure them. I really wish I had stocked up on a few more, but actually when I look at my current collection - and how many bubble bars and bath bombs I still have to get through I'm pleased I didn't added loads of these to the collection. 

On a side note, with the launch of #lushwinter2015, I have noticed some of the gift sets - the brand new ones - which are currently only available at Lush Oxford Street until the 2nd October, there has been hints that some of the discontinued products are featured in the gift set, so if you are missing your old favourites, you might be able to get some in certain gift sets.
