Blogmas Day Five: Stocking Fillers for £5 or Less

For the past few year, I have been doing Stockings as place settings for my family on Christmas Day. I usually fill them up with cheap novelty items, for them to be a bit of fun either before dinner or after. This year I am not doing them, however, I thought I would look through the internet and see what interesting items I can find for £5 or Less which would be good items to put in someone's stocking or many a secret Santa idea. 

Grow Me Hot Stuff - £3.99

I have seen these kits a lot when searching for interesting stocking fillers. This kit allows you to grow your own chilli peppers. This would be an amazing gift for someone who lives in a flat/apartment who is looking to grow their own vegetables for fun, but want something low maintenance, but also it would be amazing as a Secret Santa gift, especially if your person is a keen gardener.

Original Slinky - £4.99

If you have that someone who never grew up in your family or that friend in your group that needs to express their inner child then a Slinky in their stocking would be perfect. Pop this in a stocking and it will be hours of fun on Christmas Day entertaining the family as it walks downstairs. It would also be great for kids.

It's always fun to add something novelty to a stocking. Novelty Christmas hats always win, especially for those Christmas Day photos or those polaroids that you treasure from doing secret Santa with your friends.

Face Masks are a lovely treat to pop into a stocking. You can get face mask pretty much anywhere, but during the festive season a lot of brands come out with novelty scents, just like this one from ASOS which is Candy Cane scented. Great again as a post Christmas Day pamper session or to put as part of a gift for someone who loves to make sure they take time out for themselves at Christmas.

Fizz Creations Fizz 101 Questions Game - Modern Music - £3.99

After you've stuffed yourself with Turkey or in my case Quorn Fillets, there is nothing nicer than sitting around the table playing board games. So pop in a stocking in order to play after Christmas Dinner. There are so many of these little games, which you can pop out at any time in order to entertain the family for a few hours.

Keep Calm & Colour Cats Colouring Book - £4.99

Adult Colouring books are everywhere nowadays and you can pick up mini ones for under £5.00. Everyone would be happy to find an adult colouring book in their stocking, alongside a packet of pencils - especially for those moments on Christmas Day where you want some peace and quiet. Probably just before the Queen's Speech.
