Blogmas Day Seven: Wrapping Presents

Blogmas Day Seven: Wrapping Presents

Christmas is the season of giving, therefore there is always a lot of presents to wrap up. I like to be organised, wrapping presents as they brought or delivered it does not become a lot of work days before Christmas - plus they look amazing underneath the decorated Christmas Tree. Now, I am not an expert when it comes to wrapping presents and there is always room for improvement - but this is how I stay organised and wrap mine.

Our wrapping paper always matches our Christmas tree theme - which is red, green and gold. We wrap people's presents in the same or similar paper so we know who's is who's. We then use labels, ribbon and bows to decorate them - so they look fancy. This year we have also added Santa Sacks this year for certain people's presents. This year's paper includes Christmas Puddings, festive houses, stamps, nutcrackers, polar bears and penguins.

I would also recommend picking up a Wrapping Paper/Gift Storage Box or Bag in order to keep all your wrapping paper, gift tags, sellotape, scissors, ribbons and bows together - which makes wrapping presents organised but also allows it to be portable - especially if you need to wrap secret presents away from certain friends or family. Our's is from Studio - but you can find similar ones on Amazon.

One thing I find frustrating when it comes to wrapping paper is Sellotape. I never find the end when I need it, it sticks to parts of the paper you do not need it too and I always loose it amongst the paper and ribbon. A couple of year ago, I invested in a Scotch Pop Up Tape Dispenser. This goes on my wrist, has easy grab pop up tape and makes wrapping presents a dream. I never have to worry about loosing the end of the tape, it getting lost and having to hunt for it. I love using this at Christmas - as it makes wrapping presents enjoyable.

I love wrapping presents and love how they look underneath the tree. It makes me feel so Christmassy when the tree is full of presents, ready to be opened by friends and family. There are still more to be wrapped and added- I'm just glad I've started early.

Until next time,
