Blogmas Day Eight: Working in Retail at Christmas

Blogmas Day Eight: Working in Retail at Christmas

As this time of year is extremely busy. Presents to buy, Turkeys to Cook and Family to put up with which means interacting with other people, mainly people who have the joyous job of working in Retail.

I personally think (and probably bias) that working in Retail is one of the hardest areas to have a career in. I say this as I currently work in retail and have been since leaving education this year. When it comes to Christmas, it ends up becoming a lot harder. More people visit the store, people tend to be a lot ruder and you get only one day off - Christmas Day.

All I would like to say, to anyone working in retail I salute you and to the people who visit stores this time of year - people remember that everyone is feeling stressed at Christmas and want it to be perfect so those people working behind the tills and stocking shelves - are human too!

Until Next Time,
