Blogmas Day Twenty Three: Board Games
With Christmas around the corner, it seems to be traditional for families after the big Christmas Dinner to get together and play Board Games. We have always played them in our household, traditionally my Mum hates board games but she will join in at Christmas. Here are some of the Board Games we enjoy playing.
1. Cards Against Humanity
You need to have a good sense of humour and not be easily offend when it comes to this game. Great to play after dinner, great to play with all members of the family - but it might be good to leave Nan watching the telly!
2. The Logo Game
If you love trivia, bit of a know it all - then this is the game for you. Questions about famous brands, logos and companies - moving your way around the board answering all the questions correctly.
3. Trivial Pursuit
Traditional Game, I think every household has a version of this game tucked away in the cupboard. They also do modern versions and versions with questions about Harry Potter and The Big Bang Theory.
4. Cluedo
Just what you need after dinner. Discover who was the murdered, in what room and with what object. Good for all the family - especially with the modern versions based on popular television programs or movies - I have the Doctor Who version.
5. Monopoly
Now, I am very wary of putting this game on this list - seeing as Monopoly has caused most Christmas Day arguments - however if you are lucky and no-one in your family is a cheat or too competitive then get the Monopoly board out.
Until Next Time,
Becky xxx
