Blogmas Day Twelve: What I got for My Birthday

I am a December Baby. I celebrate my birthday just before Christmas and this year I turned 25 on the 12th December. I have no problem with being born in December. I think where my birthday lands is perfect - it's close to Christmas but still far enough away. The only time I struggle is when I celebrate big birthdays - getting a venue is really difficult due to Christmas parties and special menus. However, we make it work. This year I had the weekend before my birthday off work and we went to Bath - but on the actual day I woke up at home and then spent the rest of the day with my Sister and Friend at my Sister's place. I had a casual birthday, involving Pizza, Sweets, Cake and Cards Against Humanity. 

I was spoilt for my birthday and was very lucky to receive some amazing presents from my friends and family - as well as a ton of messages on Facebook and texts. From my friend, she got me my all-time love - Harry Potter Socks and a Gryffindor Make Up Bag. From my parents, grandmothers and uncle I got money to spend on whatever I like. And from my amazing sister - she got me not one, but three pairs of trainers. Two pairs of converse - which are my all time favourite shoes and I had my eye on a pair since summer - which are pink and yellow ombre glitter and she got them for me. She then got me and extra pair - which are high tops purple velvet pair - which are stunning. The last pair was a pair of trainers I had my heart set on. These were a pair of purple gazelle Adidas trainers - which I saw on a girl when we were at a Harry Potter event. I fell in love with them and wanted them so badly. My sister searched the world for them - finding out they were from last year. Just as she was about to give up - with help from someone at work - she found me a pair. I love all of them and cannot wait to wear them everyday! All three - hourly changing haha!
