Blogmas Day Twenty One: Table Settings
For the past few years I have always done something interesting in regards to the table settings for Christmas Dinner. I have done stockings which would place people at the table, filled with cheap christmas things, games and of course an orange and 50p. This year I decided to change things up, not do stockings but instead doing small gift bags filled with fun bits to enjoy at the table before dinner. So I picked up 7 elf gift bags from Card Factory for 99p each. Then between my mum and myself we have been picking up bits and pieces to put in them. Most of the stuff has been picked up from Card Factory, Primark and Online, it's just to have a giggle at the table before dinner. So, everyone has a pair of festive glasses, a small activity - including pub quiz questions, festive trivia, joke book, charades and a small version of jenga. Then in some there is a Christmas Colouring Book and in other's is a make your own Christmas Tree with everyone having a Christmas Dinner Quiz sheet to fill in. I have also put a scratch card in everyone's gift bag. I have then written everyone's name on the tags and on Christmas Day I am going to place them on everyone's place at the dinner table. I cannot wait for them to see them.
Until next time,
Becky xxx
