Blogmas Day Thirteen: Sh*t Gets Real
We are now at the halfway to Christmas point. This is where the real panic sets in and everyone suddenly realises that they haven't ordered their turkey, great aunt Madge is now coming for Christmas and you did not get her a Christmas Present yet - or that Amazon order you placed at the beginning of December keeps getting delayed.
Do Not Worry - you've got this.
Tips for not panicking!
1. Get real with your family
- If they have not RSVPed to your Christmas Day Dinner then called them up and demand an answer.
2. Make a List
- Put together everyone you still need to get presents for and make another one of who you've got presents for - then tick off when arrived and when ordered.
3. Festive Fun
- Make sure you take time to enjoy the festive season - cause it will be gone before you know it. Even if you still have to something while watching a festive film - at least you are watching a film.
4. Get Help
- Make sure you are getting help with your tasks. Do not take on everything, you will burn out.
5. Wrap as you got
- I know it's tempting to leave all the wrapping until Christmas Eve - but believe me you'll hate yourself. Wrap as you go - maybe with that Christmas Film on.
6. Declutter as you go
- Sort out spaces as you go. Do not leave it until days before Christmas - that side in the Kitchen you want to use as a Bar - sort it out now, not Christmas Eve.
7. Make a Last Minute List
- These should include items you could not get in one shop - make multiple copies for everyone in your house - if they go out one day and find it - it can be ticked off.
8. Book Online Grocery Shopping Now
- If you are planning to have your Christmas Shopping Delivered - make sure you are placing your order now! You have until the day before the delivery date to edit it - but do it now or you'll be joining the crowds day before Christmas.
I hope these little tips and tricks help - please make sure you are enjoying Christmas and not wishing it ends soon.
Until Next Time,
Becky xxx
